December 3, 2016 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Bronx River has inspired a plethora of stories and historic facts that generated numerous publications. One such book titled The Bronx River in History & Folklore, written by noted historian and longtime BCHS member Stephen Devillo, captures the essense of the river’s importance in an ever-changing urban environment. The Bronx River is so important in our borough’s existence that it actually namesakes it.
