Now Available: Johnson & Johnson 1-Shot COVID-19 Vaccine at Yankee Stadium

Beginning tonight at 8PM Yankee Stadium will begin vaccinations 24 hours a day with the Johnson and Johnson 1-shot vaccine which was just approved for emergency use by the FDA over the weekend.

Hundreds of Bronxites lined up on “opening” day at Yankee Stadium for the first day of vaccinations on February 5, 2021©welcome2thebronx.com

Bronx residents meeting the current eligibility requirements for the vaccine can make an appointment from 8PM to 7AM daily during which times the J&J vaccine will be administered.

This will increase vaccination capacity at the site which already was vaccinating over 2,000 people a day with the Pfizer 2-shot COVID-19 vaccine.

As with the initial program at the stadium, this is only open to Bronx residents.

If you’d like to make an appointment or help someone make their appointment, please go to the SOMOS website here or you can call 1-833-SOMOSNY.
